Who We Are

We have the only Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) federal registration in the physical precious metals industry meaning we have to adhere to CFTC rules and regulations, meet ethical standards, and have full transparency.

Our Company

Advisor Metals specializes in bullion physical precious metals. Gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. The advantage of bullion is there is no intrinsic value above the price of the metal. This intrinsic value can fluctuate wildly and puts the owner of the metals into the rare or numismatic category. If the price of bullion goes up or down, your metals move a similar amount which makes the price movements easy to follow. We can source semi-numismatic or numismatic coins upon request.

Advisor Metals does not need or pay for celebrity spokespersons or offer “free” metals. We do not have to. Our customers are loyal and many make repeat purchases.

Something About Our Owner

Ira Bershatsky is the Managing Member and owner of Advisor Metals. Ira has an MBA in Finance and 44 years of business experience including three decades as an institutional equity trader, compliance officer, technical chart analyst, and eight years in physical precious metals. He is the only person in the physical precious metals industry who has the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Federal registration, which he has had since 1991. What this means for you, the customer, is that everything Ira or a member of his team says to you has to be factual, there is no sales pitch or bait and switch, there are ethical considerations they have to meet, and there has to be full transparency.

How to Purchase Physical Precious Metals

There are two ways to purchase physical precious metals.
The process for a cash (wired funds) purchase begins when the funds are wired. Once the funds are received, we do a metals consultation, the metals are purchased then sent to you by UPS or US Postal Service in a non-descript package with adult signature required, we pay the shipping and insurance, and you get the Tracking Number(s).
The process for an eligible retirement account rollover begins when you set up an account with a self-directed IRA custodian. We work with several.

Once the funds have been transferred from your custodian to the new custodian, we do a metals consultation and the metals are purchased. The self-directed IRA custodian does all the heavy lifting to get the funds moved over. We only purchase the metals.

Once the metals are purchased, they have to be stored, by IRS rules, with a third-party depository. The custodians have relationships with three depositories which are geographically located around the United States.

Our cash purchase minimum is $2,000 per transaction and our suggested eligible retirement account rollover minimum is $10,000.

Contact Ira directly and he or one of his staff who he has personally trained will consult with you on your goals and aspirations for owning physical precious metals and work together with you to select the metals that align with your goals and aspirations.
